Adoptable Pet of the Month

Meet Tootsie Roll! She’s a fantastic furry, funny feline, but she’s also Felv+.

This sweet girl was found at Griffin Pond Animal Rescue (northeast Pennsylvania) in their outdoor colony of feral cats. They knew she was not part of the colony, and her ear was tipped, so someone was aware of her situation. Instead of protecting her, they left her outside to fend for herself. She was found very emaciated and weak, but she has made a fabulous recovery and is looking for someone to break her free of the kennel!

She’s only 11 months old and not looking to waste another minute in a shelter! She’s been a great guest, but Griffin Pond would love to help her find love from a family!

Because she is Felv+, she will need special care and should not be with other cats. For more information on Felv, check out Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine
